My phone automatically goes into “do not disturb mode” around 8pm. I’ve set it to be that way. I’ve also shut down all of my social media. I have no kids. No contract work right now. B is working tonight and I’m left with a lot of free time on my hand.

I found myself eating rice rolls, listening to moral psychology and American politics. Why American politics is beyond my comprehension. I’m Canadian. It’s not even relevant to me but it’s so damn interesting.

I found myself wondering who I can discuss or talk about these things with and I came up with zero. Nada. Maybe with B, when he’s high and having a moment. For the most part, he prefers to not think about much.

Even last night, my idea of relaxation was listening to “Why we get fat” and the role insulin plays in it. B was like “Why are you listening to this?!”

“It calms me down.”

“It does. Let me be.”

“ok” *turns to his Shin-chan anime*

  1. I think it’s great that you always want to be learning something new! And actually doing it. Just out of curiosity do you and B watch any shows together? Right now t he boy and I are watching the new Dragon Ball series and we finished watching Blue Planet 2 a few weeks back. Last year we finished Downton Abbey, well I guess I finished it because I got too impatient to wait for him and NEEDED to know what happened lol

    I hope you’re having a good weekend!

    1. Thank you! I’m loving the weekends lately. I think…I might have ADHD. LMAO. I get bored with things very fast. I enjoy learning stuff for self-improvement. With that said, I also have the worse disciplined so the knowledge I’ve gained don’t always get applied consistently.

B and I used to watch “Rules of Engagement” or “Elementary” but we don’t can’t it up consistently. We have very different interests and work schedules. It’s hard finding a middle ground sometimes. I’ve heard a lot about Downtown Abbey. I have a feeling I will enjoy the show. I’m trying to watch Schitt’s Creek at the moment. It seems…interesting so far.
